Harmony Haven Counseling

Where honesty meets compassion.

Healing happens when we feel safe enough to let ourselves be fully seen. Not just the polished parts, but the messy, vulnerable, complicated ones too. When there’s space to slow down, make sense of your story, and sit with what’s hard without judgment, real change becomes possible.

My role isn’t to fix you or tell you what you “should” do. I don’t believe you’re broken. Instead, I’m here to walk alongside you, helping you understand your patterns, reconnect with your strengths, and build a life and relationships that feel more secure and aligned.

It’s a privilege to do this work. I’m deeply grateful for the trust my clients place in me, and I would be honored to walk alongside you, too.

The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.
— Carl Jung

Services

Diagnostic Assessment

A diagnostic assessment is the first step in understanding what’s been going on. Together, we’ll explore your history, current concerns, and goals so we can create a clear, thoughtful plan for moving forward. This process is collaborative and designed to help you feel understood, not labeled.

Individual Counseling

Individual therapy is a space to slow down and focus on you. We’ll work to understand patterns, process past experiences, and build practical tools for managing anxiety, relationship stress, self-worth, and emotional overwhelm. The goal is greater clarity, confidence, and connection to yourself.

EMDR

EMDR is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps the brain process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. It can reduce the emotional intensity of past events so they no longer feel as overwhelming in the present.

Couples Counseling

Couples therapy helps you and your partner move out of reactive cycles and toward deeper understanding. We’ll strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and create a more secure emotional connection so you can feel like you’re on the same team again.

About me

What gives life meaning for me is connection. I believe healing happens in relationship, with yourself and others.

With a background in psychology and neuroscience, I love helping clients understand how their brains and nervous systems may be working hard to protect them, even if those patterns are now keeping them stuck.

When you understand why you respond the way you do, change feels less shame-based and more empowering.

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real, human connection, not a clinical checklist. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I show up as my authentic self so you can feel safe showing up as yours.

I’m psychodynamically oriented, which means we’ll explore the messages you absorbed growing up and how they continue to shape your beliefs, behaviors, and relationships today. I often view challenges through an attachment lens, helping you understand how early relational experiences influence your present connections.
